Home is where the heart is…

Feeling nostalgic is a sort of homesickness, a deep emotion of wanting to belong, to have that safe place, to be in that safe place, a feeling of nostalgia, of something that was and wanting to recreate this same feeling. Truth is, home is always with us – it is with us in our hearts, it is with us wherever we choose to go. And it is during one of these nostalgic moments that I came up with this design. It is simple, yet it encapsulates that feeling of wanting to belong, of wanting to go home, to be home, to be home with people I love. This is what the design stands for and how it makes me feel.

Oh, by the way, the home reminds me a lot of an American maybe sort of American Gothic style, something from the House of Ushers, funnily enough. But it is a beautiful one nevertheless. It is your heart that makes all the difference in how your home is.
